Building high-quality affordable housing is more important now than ever. We are excited to celebrate our investment in 4840 Mission Street & the creation of affordable homes for D11 families. Congrats to Mayor @londonbreed , Supervisor @Ahsha_Safai, @BRIDGEhousing and @MNHC240. Once complete, the development will be home to 137 families as well as a brand new, expanded Mission Neighborhood Health Center which will provide essential healthcare service to residents and neighbors!

Thank you to Mayor London Breed for dropping by Casala earlier this week to commemorate its grand opening as the first brand new 100% affordable housing in Sunnydale! Normally, we would come together to cut the ribbon and celebrate in person but we must all continue to do our part to fight COVID-19 and keep our community safe .

Together with our partner, Mission Housing Development Corporation we are moving forward on crucial renovations to the Gran Oriente and two other 100% affordable buildings on South Park Street in SoMa. This would not have been possible without SOMA Pilipinas Filipino Cultural Heritage District and the Filipino American Development Foundation whose advocacy led to the acquisition!. This week we had the pleasure to join Mayor London Breed and Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation to celebrate the rededication of Rosa Parks apartments! The transformation of what was once known as the Pink Palace is a profound one, and would not have been possible without the trust and patience of our residents who have believed in us and the RAD process.
