Irvine attorneys Kevin J. Gramling and Ernest L. Weiss won a contentious injury trial alleging their security company client was at fault for injuries suffered ...when a 450 pound gate came crashing down at a music festival. The two experienced trial attorneys presented strong counter-arguments to the jury, which found overwhelmingly that their client was not responsible for the gate failure. Appellate specialist Robert M. Shaughnessy from Klinedinst’s San Diego office then helped the team on the post-trial work, resulting in a full settlement and reimbursement of $60,000 in costs for the client. Learn more about this result and why it was a major victory for the defense. https://klinedinstlaw.com//klinedinst-defense-verdict-pers See more

Klinedinst is saddened to announce the passing of Connie L. Ali, a member of our litigation support team in Los Angeles. A Michigan native, Connie had called California home for 35 years. After moving to the Golden State, she attended various colleges throughout California while taking courses at night and working full-time during the day. It was that dedication and spirit that came to be a hallmark of Connie’s work ethic in the office. She had been a valued member of our team for 18 years and a wonderful presence in our Los Angeles office, said Robert Hatem, Managing Shareholder of Klinedinst’s Los Angeles office. She will be greatly missed. Learn more about Connie at https://kpcne.ws/3l0gENR
