Going deep! I found that the 'A' preset had a contact shorted to one of the busbars causing all sorts of weird problems. It turned out that one of the copper reed contacts was bent and wouldn't let off of it's associated busbar. I could have just disconnected it's wire at the preset panel but it had to be done right! And of course, I found paperclips inside the organ.

825 Leslie wasn't working. Replaced a few bad components on the power amp board, the slow motor needed rebuilding, the combo preamp had a bad circuit breaker and a cracked trace due to someone's crap work, cable had a loose connector...lots of problems to straighten out. So, it works great now and it's owner is pumped! It's LOUD too!

A nice surprise was found beneath this pedalboard footrest! Still waiting to find a bag of gold nuggets...

Finished with the latest C3! Fully tuned and serviced. Loads of tone and dynamics on this one too. $3800 includes the Leslie.

Here's 'the situation' in my garage today.

Very cool early drum machine! However, this unit wasn't living up to it's name. After some repairs and tuning it's once again a "Rhythm Ace".

Almost finished with this early 60s C3/Leslie 122 combo. Just finished replacing the vibrato capacitors and key felts. This is a pre-foam 1960s transition organ so it still had superior build quality in the manuals. It's really turning out to be an awesome organ and the original wax cap tone is legendary!

Notoriously GREAT ALBUM! If you're a fan of anyone listed on the cover, then you need to hear this.

Another B3 deadly foam removal project. Fortunately, this one had very little damage. It's SO satisfying to clean out that creepy stuff with the shop vac!

Early 60s C3 I just started working on. Should be nice when I'm finished!

Finally scored a copy of this awesome, rare album! Great accompaniment for tedious work.

The suitcase chronicles. One appears to be signed by none other than Harold Rhodes himself!

What's your ideal Hammond sound? Someone asked me the other day about my favorite organ tone, this one has THE sound I've been trying to get for years. Nice and fresh, probably a new organ even: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WmbhT2J2rg

A100 Hammond restoration finished. It was a journey! Very low mileage on this classic machine and it sounds perfect! $2800

Fixing a Wurlitzer 200. Listening to more great records...

Just finished this very cool original red Wurlitzer 200. Early model from 1969. Sounds really fat!

San Diego B3 Service 15.09.2020

Some shots of the last Wurlitzer 200 I did. A lot of elbow grease and ZZTop brought out a diamond in the rough.

Wurlitzer 200 was in rough shape. It's looking and sounding much, much better.

Wurlitzers in line for repairs. Lately it's been pianos, pianos, pianos...

Green 200A from the late 70s! Turning out really nice. Matty LaBarber

Funky Rhodes just got a new lease on life. Gave it the PFM treatment, just like the last Hammond I posted. Now she speaks.

San Diego B3 Service 30.06.2020

A100 had no pulse. After some PFM it's back from the dead!
