Coming to this decision isn’t often easy either, but sometimes people can pinpoint the exact moment when they knew things weren’t going to work out and that it was time to file for divorce.
Thank you for the great review Jack! We are passionate about helping our clients through the divorce process in a balanced, peaceful way. I'm happy we could deliver that again to another client.
The initiator of divorce has an impossible choice to make: do I stay and keep trying? Do I ask for a divorce? It is a common back and forth internal conversation that many of our clients have before coming in for a consultation. https://bit.ly/3qYfhmR
Why do we recommend getting your Marital Settlement Agreement reviewed by an attorney? We are often asked this question, and the answer is important. We always advise clients that they hire an attorney to look over their Marital Settlement Agreement before signing. We do this because we are neutrals and cannot guide either party if a term within the MSA is in their best interest or not. So if one party has a particular question on how a term could impact them, it is beneficia...l to speak with an attorney who can advocate on their behalf. It is normal for both clients to come back after meeting with their own attorneys, making small changes, and ending with a MSA that they both feel confident in. When this extra step is taken, it can minimize the need for changes to the agreement in the future and clients can have peace of mind that they made the best decisions within their MSA.
We are one of the only teams in Southern California with an entire team ready to assist you. Our director of mediation services works with clients and the community to connect them to divorce resources. No matter what you need on your journey, we are there to help.
