We would like to take a moment to thank our deliriously hard working ladies in the front of the office! Our very own chaos coordinators Gina and Laura who never cease to amaze us with their composure and resilience!! We love you both and just want you to know that we couldn’t do this without you!

Update 1:30- power is still out. Sorry to say everyone but we are currently experiencing a power outage. We have no control over when the power will return but we are hoping it will be this morning. If you call and we do not answer the power is still out. If you have an appointment this morning we may be contacting you to reschedule.
Dr. Alfaro and Flower have a love thing. <3
We don’t always post about our surgery patients but this little bunny was just too happy making not to share with you. This little guy (under 70 grams!) will be recovering from a leg amputation over the next few weeks. We wish you well little trooper!!

Update!!! After a long week of awaiting COVID-19 test results we will be opening our doors to patients again Monday morning. We are relieved and excited to get back to what we love doing. Please be understanding in regards to prescription refills/returning of calls as we will be working as swiftly as possible to catch up from last week. We cannot express how grateful we all are for the love and support we received during this stressful time.

Our office will be closed today (Friday, September 25th ) at 1pm for staff development. We will resume normal business hours Monday September 28th. Thank you for your understanding.
In honor of National Yorkie Day we thought we would share a photo of Bijou with you all. Bijou belongs to our amazing veterinary assistant Stephanie.
!!!We will be closing Saturdays!!! Effective August 10th we will be closed on Saturdays. In order to preserve the mental and emotional integrity of our staff we have decided to reduce our hours so that all staff members can have two consecutive days off. We understand this may not be ideal news for some clients who prefer weekend appointments but at this time we need to prioritize the welfare of our staff in order to continue to provide quality service to your pet during the week. We would also like to take a moment to thank our clients for helping keep our staff protected by wearing masks when our technicians or receptionists are at your vehicle to bring your pet in. We cannot express how grateful we are for this simple gesture during these tough times.
A little something to help start your Monday with a smile.
This is why we are here.
Attention Clients!! Our phone system is currently down and may not be back up until 6pm tonight. We thank you for your understanding.Attention Clients!! Our phone system is currently down and may not be back up until 6pm tonight. We thank you for your understanding.
Super sweet thank you from the Sheltons. Our clients truly are the best.
It broke our hearts to say goodbye to our hospital kitty Lincoln today. Lincoln came to us almost 14 years ago when he was no longer a good fit for his family. He loved hanging out in the lounge during lunch and would often climb into our laps for naps. He loved to steal lunches and break into bags of food. Pretty sure he had tried every type of cat food we carry. We will miss you little buddy. Rest peacefully.
Big thanks to our fabulous clients Connie and Ivanna for helping keep us fed today!! Nothing like pizza to get you through the work week!
Anyone else's pets seem to think a "Shelter In Bed" order was issued? Let's see some of those adorable sleeping pets in the comment section.
This is Riley. Riley has successfully trained his owner to practice social distancing. Every day Riley stops by our hospital for treats. Riley's owner stands 6 feet from the front door while Riley accepts treats from a few of our staff members. Thanks for keeping your human and our staff safe Riley. We appreciate and love you. (Yes the fog on the window is from Riley breathing on it)
We hope everyone is in good health and bright spirits. We thought we would share a recent case with you. We had the opportunity to repair the shell of a western pond turtle who somehow had his shell cracked. It will be a while before he can return to the wild but until then our friends at Critter Creek will be caring for him.
Attention!!! We are implementing new policies to help maintain the safety of our staff and clients. We will also be closing at noon on Saturdays until further notice. Stay safe everyone.
