Some Tips for Garage and Driveway Almost everyone gets grease, oil and transmission fluid on their garage floor at some point. The results are relentless too! Reader's digest says to try this; spray the spots with oven cleaner. Let it settle for 5-10 minutes, then scrub with a stiff brush and rinse with your garden hose at its highest pressure. If the stains didn't come out the first time, you can do a second application. Be cautious of spraying it on your clothes, and gettin...g it in your eyes and on your skin. For rust stains on your concrete, mix unsweetened lemonade Kool-Aid with hot water. Scrub and the rust stains should come right out. WD-40 weighs in as well; for oil spots just spray with a generous amount of WD-40, and hose it down with water. These tips were offered by Reader's Digest
