Hey friend, We usually share videos about techniques, seminars, etc., but this time this is a video about the culture of our school the way we do things, our professors are sharing here their knowledge and experiences. If you are a Sampa BJJ student you should respect and understand our culture otherwise it won’t be a great experience training here. If you are not a Sampa student, just take what you like and do not consider what you do not like. Make sure you know we do not ...own the truth but we are constantly improving to provide our students with the best experience they can have. Please take a look, share it if you like it, also if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us, by calling or just by replying to this email. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has its belt ranking system divided by kids and adults. Sampa Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has its own belt system, very similar to the official one regulated by IBJJF. In fact, to make it simple any belt a child student receives before the Grey/White Belt is part of our Sampa System Belt. Usually, kids will receive two belts before the first official belt. Also, NO CHILD can be a Black belt per the IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation)... For adults, we also have our own system during white Belt, just because it takes from white to blue around two years. So, we decided to create our own system to motivate our students. Our goal is to keep students and make them black belts and not only filter the tough ones. So, any belt an adult student receives before the Blue belt is part of our Sampa System and it can be 3 to 4 belts depending on the student performance. After 4 stripes, any student is eligible to receive a new belt but not entitled, the coach is the only one responsible to decide if the student is performing properly for that belt. It gets more and more strict about the performance as the student advances in belts. If you have any question please call 626-335-4971

At Sampa BJJ we like to see jiu-jitsu as a lifestyle, we train jiu jitsu because it is good for our body and for our mind, we will achieve confidence, self-respect, and much more other benefits. Budo means "martial way" and refers to those martial disciplines whose ultimate goal is spiritual, ethical and/or moral self-improvement. That been said, competition is just one way to live the martial arts of jiu jitsu.... Competition is not the only meaning of BJJ. It is a fact that many schools are solely focused in competition, it is not bad but also it is not the complete experience of the art of jiu jitsu. Here at Sampa Jiu-Jitsu we recommend all the students to complete a few times per year, for those who decide to become competitors and get serious about it we even recommend them to quit their job and dedicate solely to the sport. Many people can’t quit their jobs but they can still enjoy the Martial art journey. We understand that competitions can be annoying for the parents and also overwhelming for the kids at the early stages. That is why at Sampa BJJ, we offer our in-house competitions and festivals, a great way to educate the kids about the rules, how to behave in competition, warm-up, as well teaching the parents how to behave properly. A great way to train for the actual competition in a safe and controlled environment. Register yourself or child to our next competition and do not miss the chance to learn! Do not focus solely on results, do not force your child to compete, avoid early specialization (let your child play other things), Not everyone will get a scholarship, not everyone will be an Olympian, let your child have fun, interfere less and know that 70% of the kids in the USA quit any organized sports by the age of 13, just because parents push too much towards results. Thank you

Dear friend, Once in a while, we like to emphasize that competitions are important to one’s development as a martial artist, Prof. Renato has done many competitions, many wins, many losses but great learning from them all. You cannot be a martial artist if you haven’t tried it at least once. You will deal with your nerves, anxiety and... for sure you will leave each competition better than you were before. Please check some of his fights and highlights. Hello folks, Prof. Renato here, https://linktr.ee/sampabjj Folks,... This is the most important link to know and save. Navigate through the folders and you will find anything you need, apps, zoom schedule for online classes and private classes, Fitness and BJJ past online classes, website, FB Private Group, Private Classes Scheduling and much more. Regards Renato

Sampa Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Fontana 31.07.2020

Hey friend, Do you know that private classes are a great way to retain the content taught in class, to refresh the content, and to have your doubt solved, and a great path to a faster evolvement? Every coach and prof. at Sampa Jiu-Jitsu teaches private classes, with different prices, different schedules, and availabilities. Our prices are pretty affordable compared to the BJJ Industry, where it can start from $100 to $400. ... Yes, it can get crazy. I referred a student to an acquaintance in Vegas and he was charged $400 for the private class. Well, it is obvious that the student did not do the class at all. But I (Prof. Renato) have paid $400 for a private class in New York once. Our idea at Sampa BJJ is to make it possible so it will most likely cost like a personal trainer program. If you are interested in private classes please approach any coach or professor and they can negotiate the price and times with you. It is very important to let you know that Sampa BJJ does not take any cut/percentage from the private classes purchased from the instructors. We may change it one day, who knows? We are now offering online Private classes if that is more convenient to you. If you are interested in private classes with Prof. Renato, please reply to this email and subject line: Prof. Private classes and he will respond with availability and prices. Thank you for your time. Sampa Staff
