"True self-care goes deeper than pampering. It's taking care of your whole being - body, mind, and soul. It's healing your traumas, putting in the work, and taking responsibility for your actions and behaviors." The Lioness Touch wrote such a beautiful piece on self-love, that I asked her if I could repost it on my blog! She includes helpful suggestions for creating positive thought patterns and practicing self-care in non-conventional but impactful ways. Give it a read, and sign up for her newsletter! She is a loving resource for mind and body wellness. https://saltandsirena.com//guest-post-there-is-more-to-sel Amazing photo by @kelleramsey, Untitled VIII

Your kitchen can be eco-friendly AND beautiful! These organic cotton and bamboo sponges are handmade, machine washable, compostable, and best of all, they work. They come in a pack of two (so one is always handy while the other is in the washing machine!) and will last you over a year. I have 4 cute prints in the shop! saltandsirena.com And because I feel like the more we know, the better we can do: Did you know...? Conventional sponges should be thrown away after 2 to 3 week...s, and can contain more active and pathogenic (can lead to disease) bacteria than your toilet. Most kitchen sponges are made with plastic. And they degrade into micro-plastics that end up down your drain, and into our oceans. Yikes! See more

New blog post up! https://saltandsirena.com//recovering-from-anxiety-with-mo "I've tried to be pretty open and transparent about my experiences with anxiety. I do this because I can't express how powerful and helpful it felt to have someone who could relate tell me exactly what I was feeling. Exactly what I was thinking. And if I could do that for someone else, it might just be their turning point towards light. Like it was for me." If you'd like to share your story with me, or if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!

Want to know two no-cost, but incredibly impactful, ways to be more eco-friendly? One. Finish what you buy! Use 100% of that chapstick, shampoo, deodorant, lotion, and toothpaste. Meal plan to reduce your food waste; save & eat your leftovers. Two. Value and take care of the clothes you own. Mend, air-dry, lay flat: whatever it needs to prolong its life. Choose pieces that you can see yourself wearing for years, not weeks. ... I compiled 42 more ideas on the blog, but these two felt especially important! Also, a quick reminder that the Anni Sale ends tonight! saltandsirena.com
