As I’m sure you’ve heard salons must once again close. Contact me about your appointments. We do sell plenty of PPE as most of you know which should allow us to still sell our retail. I am happy to do some shopping appointments and curbside pick up on anything you need. Message me for retail and questions. Thank you for your continued support, patience and understanding.

Escape and come have your services done and know that I am truly interested in hearing all about your stamp collection, favorite band, best vacation spot, your how we met story, secrets to cooking/baking, your funny dog, and especially your most embarrassing moments etc. It’s not my goal or desire to control people, thoughts or conversations. I do want those who are new to me or perhaps any who don’t know that one of the main reasons I wanted my own business is to create a certain environment and feel. A space that is about caring, compassion and inclusivity. Where all people feel safe and aren’t subjected to sitting through potentially triggering, hurtful or offensive conversations. If you have lost your job due to the pandemic, are trying to look for work and need a haircut I will cut your hair for free. As a non essential business owner I’ve been unemployed for 131 days this year so far. That’s more then 1/3 of the year. I know what it’s like to have everything change and feel the strain so if you need a haircut so you can look and feel your best the DM me for a haircut. There are a couple terms and I’ll list them below. * I ask that you please pay it... forward by doing something for someone else whatever that may be * I may ask to take a photo of your hair however this is not promotional and it won’t include your face or any personal information. Wrapped the week up with 2 color corrections. The first is purposeful in that we are removing years of being a red head while simultaneously growing her hair long. We are well on our way and her hair is healthy as can be. The next 2 photos are a color correction of a different shade. Some people took to box dye hoping to get them through until salons were open. I don’t blame anyone, they have good intentions and we will get you back to normal we promise. Day 1 back....today was interesting in the range of experiences. I felt like I had sea legs, happiness, excitement, humbled. I even made a pretty big mistake today. I’m grateful for all of it. Hi all I’m able to book your hair appointments. *As I’m sure most of you have heard salons in CA can open with modifications. Unfortunately we aren’t allowed to do waxing or nail services indoors yet. Doing outdoor services isn’t practical in the Central Valley but hopefully within a couple weeks we will be able to. DM or text me for an appointment. We are required to inform clients before their visits of the health and safety guidelines. Most of you who have come in have rec...eived this from me in an email once you booked. Those guidelines are still in place. I look forward to seeing you. This has been a really difficult time for all of us for a variety of reasons. Everyone has something different to tackle right now. I wanted my own shop because I wanted to operate with a certain level of standards and integrity. Sorry for the delay but I had to work through some anger. I don’t think that anger at some of the behavior I’m seeing will do any good. Yes we are closed again. Yes this is a terrible situation for many reasons. Coming from a better place of calm I hope anyone reading this makes space for the suffering of their fellow humans, shows compassion, and acts selflessly. Thank you to those of you who have texted with your well wishes for myself and my business.

Just a couple back at it shots. Definitely not taking much time to make content but I’ve taken a couple shots. Here we have short and sassy, a side shave/hair donation, movement towards icy blonde, some red removal/ transitioning away from red, and lest we forget....storm cloud. It’s been nice seeing everyone. Thank you all who have come in and are Happy to be there. I’m happy to have you!

No post will ever be enough and I will never have the correct words. Black lives are beautiful, black lives are beloved, black lives are essential. I have failed my black brothers and sisters. Any time that I have heard a foul, insensitive, uneducated, racist remark from a client, friend, co-worker or family member and have said to myself while horrified that it wouldn’t change someone to confront their ignorance but not addressed it, I have failed and am ashamed of my behavi...or. I will do better. I hung this in my salon today because one of the reasons I wanted my own place is because I wanted to create a space where it was filled with love and hatred had no space there. I am in a position to call the shots and I take it seriously and want to create an environment of inclusivity and kindness. My hope is that change actually occurs and that the innocent black lives that are disgustingly too many to count will have not died in vain but that we are never the same, finally. This change starts with me listening and asking myself how I can be and do better. I want to always be learning whether it’s today or in 30 years. I hope that whomever comes after me will help to enlighten me to ways that I knowingly or unknowingly do harm so that I may change my behavior and make a better world. When Black Lives Matter was founded and many responses followed with elbows saying their lives mattered all lives matter blue lives matter etc. A friend of mine pointed out that with the use of the word, ALSO or TOO we wouldn’t be having these debates. It’s true and sad. That the black community was just trying to say, hey we matter too. Black people shouldn’t have to teach us how to treat them. See more

As soon as we get news about re-opening I will let everyone know. This situation changes every day. Information and conflicting stories come out constantly. Know that I look daily for useful updates and solutions. Thank you for being patient. Once I know when i can start scheduling people I will contact those who had appointments that were canceled and they will get first dibs on appointments then I’ll go from there.

Stuff is slowly rolling in. Lots of delays but super grateful for all the hard work that’s gone into getting what I can. It’s still coming together. It’ll be nice to get some more displays and merchandise when things are open again. One great way you can support my business is by picking up some retail when you come in.
