The previous color was a heavy highlight requiring a high maintenance upkeep. The goal here was to blend the new highlight and lowlights throughout her hair transforming her high maintenance routine to a simpler more natural looking color combination that would allow more time between appointments and create very little outgrowth appearance. I believe I accomplished that quite nicely

https://www.facebook.com/1639931882930440/posts/2282024102054545/ I'm guessing by now some of you are considering the idea of just growing out your grey I have helped so many clients do just that in a graceful attractive way. It isn't necessary to wear a grey stripe for the next year or more as you allow your natural hair color to take over! When I see you next you'll have 3- 4 inch natural root color and the rest will be the color I have been custom blending for you. If ...the goal is to grow out the grey but you would like to camouflage the outgrowth as we go ....I will use the colors I have always used and simply break up the grey and blend it into the previous color by weaving it with foils . This will refresh your ends and balance the two areas by bringing ribbons of your own custom blended color through your gray. Each consecutive appointment afterwards I will weave less and less of the color through your outgrowth. Many clients find that though they enjoy their gray and the freedom of less maintenance it provides...they prefer the dimension that a color weave once or twice a year gives them. The technique I use gives the dimension without every creating a visible outgrowth line. See more
