Welcome to 2021. I hope this year brings so baseball back to Salida. I do hope this message finds all our baseball family happy, healthy and safe. I would like to update you that currently we are taking registrations on line and that even though we are pushing our start date to April we are still hopeful to start and have a full season of baseball this year. Stay tuned to this page for more updates and they become available. P.s. register on line but do not pay just yet until we get an official green light. Thanks everyone and happy new year

Spring Baseball Season is just around the corner, so please take a moment and reserve your players spot for the 2021 spring season. It's easy just go to our website www.Salidalittleleague.com and register. Try outs will take place in Jan 2021 and Opening Day is scheduled for the first Saturday in March. We hope you will all join us for the 2021 season of Salida Little League.

Good Afternoon everyone... Tonight Monday 8/17/20 at 630 Salida Little League will be having a board meeting, we are switching this meeting to a on line meeting due to the heat. I will post a link if anyone is interesting in joining the board next season we would love to have you. We hope that 2021 will be everything that 2020 wasn't .

The official word went out via Email on Saturday. Salida Little League has officially declared the 2020 spring season finished. This is not what any of us wanted or hoped for, but the safety of our players and their families are what is important. We will be back strong for 2021 and stay tuned for updates on when you can sign up. Also we are hoping to have a end of the season Baseball Bash, so we can let the players show out in their uniforms and get some pictures, play some games, get a meal at the snack bar and watch a movie in the park (socially distant ) of course. Hope to see everyone soon till then stay safe. Tentative party date is August 15th. SAVE the DATE.

Hello Gang, just updating you we are still holding on. We have a proposal out to the health department to restart our season as we are just waiting on their approval. Please keep your fingers crossed that we will get to proceed soon. Until then keep practicing and send in your video's. We will have the raffle virtually and we will send you the information on when as soon as it becomes available. Look forward to seeing everyone soon.

Happy Friday SLL family, I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe and sane during this pandemic. As far as little league goes nothing has changed we are still scheduled to start back up with games resuming on May 11, 2020 and Opening ceremonies will be held on May 9th. That's what I can tell you for certain. What we are still working out is what if any restrictions will come with starting up. I will keep everyone updated on what is advised as far as precautions go.... We will do everything we can to have a season and keep everyone safe. I know this is getting to be a old and tired record, but I can't Thank you all enough for standing by your league and sticking with us in this holding pattern. So, much like last week, no news is good news. I know that some of you received a new order stating the "Shelter in place order", it does not have an end date which means it could last a month, or a day so we will just keep taking things one day at a time. If anyone needs to chat or needs anything. Please call or text me . My phone is always on. I wish everyone the best, and keep good thoughts that baseball will be alive soon. Good morning Family, Well no news is good news, we are still on schedule to start up on May 9th for opening day, and games to resume on May 11th. If any of your raffle people ask about the raffle we are still planning on having that on May 9th. If for some reason we don't get to start on May 9th we will have a virtual raffle and go live with it on Facebook. I'm sure everyone is going a little stir crazy these days but just keep doing what you are doing it's working (at ...least I hope it is). Keep practicing with your players as much as you can I'm sure they are enjoying the time spent with you. I will mention it again, picture day is tentatively scheduled for May 30th so if you already ordered your pictures on line it will just roll over to that date. I can't stress enough how proud I am of this family. I appreciate all of you hanging in here with us. We are hopeful that baseball season is just around the corner. Stay strong Salida...
