St. Verena Coptic Orthodox Church

O land, be of good courage; be glad and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things. (Joel 2:21, OSB) We began this year wishing everyone a happy, healthy and holy 2020. And as this year comes to a close, we humbly ask that the Lord continues to keep us all safely in His Great and Mighty Hands. Happiness had a different meaning in 2020. Being healthy in 2020 consumed us. Holiness through our worship was turned upside down. Throughout the year, the Church charts our course ...towards Christ and His Kingdom. 2020 was not the year full of activities or events. Liturgical services and relationships were the focus- not tasks. We are grateful that despite all of the circumstances of 2020, we never lost focus of Christ. 2021 will be here soon, and again, we will wish you another year of happiness, good health and most importantly holiness. We ask that you continue to support the church and we thank you all deeply for your sacrifice and generosity. For where the church is, there is the Spirit of God, and where the Spirit of God is, there is the church and all grace St. Irenaeus Christ's blessings and peace be with you all!
