A Happy and Joy-Filled Easter to all! We are meeting in person for the first time in over a year. Ironically, on such a day, in respect of CDC guidelines we've had to limit our guests. We hope to post pictures or some video clips soon.

Wishing a very happy birthday to Bishop Muvunyi Louis. O God, our times are in your hand: Look with favor, we pray, on your servant Louis as he begins another year. Grant that he may grow in wisdom and grace, and strengthen his trust in your goodness all the days of his life; through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Continuing to pray with The Diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others: C4SO in the leadup to the election: A Prayer for November 2 Heavenly Father, you sent your Son among us to proclaim the kingdom of God in cities, towns, villages, and lonely places. Behold and visit, we pray, our community. Renew the bonds of charity that uphold our civic life. Send us honest and able leaders. Deliver us from poverty, prejudice and oppression, that peace may prevail with righteousness, and justice with mercy. And at the last, bring us to your Holy City, the new Jerusalem, where we shall know perfect unity and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Continuing to pray with The Diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others: C4SO in the week before the election: A Prayer for November 1 O God, the Creator of all, whose Son commanded us to love our enemies: Lead them and us from prejudice to truth; deliver them and us from hatred, cruelty, and revenge; and in your good time enable us all to stand reconciled before you in Jesus Christ; in whose Name we pray. Amen.
