Here is how i set up Oil pans for Turbo Oil Returns...in this case its an Ls Aluminum Oil Pan that is getting a Turbo upgrade down the road....Note...this same step was done on the other side incase 2 turbo are installed Of course you get better results when a new oil pan is used and hardware. Depending on your turbo set up verify your minimum oil return size, in this case for a Borg Warner S475 77mm turbo it was asking for a -10an return, so a quick trip to see Marcos at Max...imum Speed Performance netted us a pair of -10an aluminum Bungs and Cap. You wana start by picking a spot as high as u can go without complicating things, drill a pilot to where u want it, then measure the step machined on the bung, some dont have this step...in this case it was safe to say a .750 drill or step bit would work.... ...once it sits in its place, make sure its all nice and clean and weld, close attention not to leave any pinholes....let it cool....a lil dab of Anti Seize and tighen and ready to install...
