SailTime member on one of our 2019 Beneteau 41.1s buys the first 2021 Beneteau 40.1 on the West Coast. He says SailTime is the best try before you buy. If you are interested in trying before you buy, give us a call or stop by our office for a fleet tour! By March, we’ll have even new Beneteau size from 30.1 to 51.1.

The Christmas Boat Parade starts on Thursday.
Time to clean the mast on the SailTime boats. We do it once a year. We also inspect and spray an anti corrosion product on the fittings and turn buckles.
If this is November 1st, just pinch me. Love Newport Beach.
I Just heard this morning that a charter company in the Med backed out of purchasing a Lagoon 46 and there is a great deal for the person that picks it up. Over a year ago, the charter company put down 10% and ordered a 2021 Lagoon 46. Now, a year later the world has changed and the boat has finally finished being built. Lagoon went to the charter company and requested final payment before shipping and the charter company backed out. This presents an opportunity for a sav...vy buyer to step in and save a ton of money. This 2021 Lagoon 46 would be perfect in SailTime Newport Beach. It has heat/air conditioning, generator and 4 cabins and 4 heads. All of our current yachts have 3 cabin and we really need a yacht 4th cabin. There is never a good place for captain to sleep or the kids friends, so a 4th cabin would really be a winner in our fleet. The boat can ship from the factory in France and be on a cargo ship as early as 12/4. If you are able to take advantage of this unique opportunity, please give us a call at 949 274-1409. See more
So what is it like to sail in 18+ knot of breeze in a catamaran? Hint, you are not healed over, having to brace yourself. See the video to get the feeling.
Summer is here. Time to get out and enjoy.
Happy 4th of July
Catalina is open! Captain Rick took new SailTime member Michelle and her family to Catalina for the ASA 104. They hiked to the top of the mountain at Two Harbors. Great view.
Great news! https://www.visitcatalinaisland.com//catalina-island-comp/
We were interviewed about our base. https://sailtime.com/featured-bases/sailtime-orange-county/
The family that plays together stays together. We were out yesterday and enjoyed seeing dolphins. Call us if you are looking to social distance with your family on the ocean. 714 878-7700
Look what I saw on the water today. One of the boats that inspired our love of sailing in the 80’s.
SailTime members showing us how to do a tack with two people on the Beneteau 38.1.
New SailTime member learning how to single hand his Beneteau 41. It takes lots of practice. Here is an example of a tack.
It is a great day to be sailing.
San Diego closed their harbor to recreational boating. This petition is being circulated in an effort to provide a voice to encourage County officials to keep Newport Harbor open and accessible! Newport Harbor provides residents much needed respite during these uncertain times. We can responsibly enjoy our waterways while providing the recommended safe social distancing. Social distancing is important to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. Keeping our bodies in optimum... health to fight the virus is equally important. With fewer options to get outside and exercise, increased anxiety and deteriorating physical fitness are real concerns for the overall well being of our community. More closures and forced stay at home isolation with no reasonable outlet will only continue to compound the stress already being thrust upon families. Kids need to be outdoors with their siblings and parents. It is not healthy for children to stare at their phone, iPad and computer screens all day. Stress reducing activities, like stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and boating are needed. Our spring will quickly be turning to summer and the harbor and ocean may be the ONLY outlet for many families to escape the confines of isolation. Together we can ALL do our part, flatten the curve and practice safe social distancing, while leaving Newport Harbor open and accessible. https://www.change.org/KeepNewportHarborOpen
One of the people on the Beneteau owners group had an amazing wildlife encounter with a beluga whale. Learning to sail and having a boat opens up unique life experiences. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtgy50AD3Zs
Help keep our harbor open so we can social distance with our family on the water. It is not healthy for kids to be stuck inside on their phones all day. http://chng.it/bCK9htR8
