Safety Plan- If you are leaving an abusive relationship, it is crucial to have a safety plan for you and your children and if you are currently living with someone who can be physically, emotionally, mentally and/or sexually abusive or if you have just left a violent situation then there may be a reason to be concerned about your safety If you are in immediate danger or injured, call 911. A...lways discuss the safety plan with your children, so they can contact neighbors, police or any other person you can trust, in an emergency. Have a safe place to go to that is open 24 hours, such as a police station, hospital, or fire station.
