It's Grandparents Day! Wishing a happy and fun filled day to all of our swim grandparents! You are an important part of many of our very first swim memories! And remember grandparents, swim lessons are for ALL ages. It is never too late to learn the life skill of swimming.
Welcome to September! Fall is right around the corner and while many pools just opened, many will be closing once again for the season. Don't let fall keep you from your fitness goals and don't fall behind on the swim skills you worked so hard for! Swim year round with SafeSplash.
It's #WaterSafetyWednesday! Our August water safety tip is "Stay away from pool drains!" Pool drains are often overlooked as a swimming danger and is particularly dangerous for young, inexperienced, or weaker swimmers. So stay safe and keep away from pool drains!
It's #NationalColoringBookDay! Celebrate by coloring in our coloring page with your little swimmers!
Water Safety Tip #2. Only use floatations devices with adult supervision.
May is National Water Safety Month, and as it approaches, we wanted to take some time to share some helpful Water Safety Tips with everyone! I know we're all stuck at home right now, but for those of you who have pools at home, or are planning ahead for when we can go outside once again, we want to make sure that you and your family are always thinking about safety!
Happy Wednesday everybody! I hope everybody is doing well. Over the past couple of weeks I've posted some video's and pictures of things that we've been doing to pass the time while we're all stuck at home... but I would LOVE the chance to hear from / see some of the things that you've been up to! If you have any pictures or videos of what you and your family have been doing to keep sane, please send them to me at [email protected]!... I hope to see you all soon!
We were so excited to get to hang out with some of our swimmers on Zoom earlier this week! We miss you all SO much, and can't wait to get back to the pool!
We're missing all of our swim families so much! Hope you are all staying safe, healthy and sane! Some of our girls wanted to share a joke (and their puppy) with everybody!
Some things you can do to get some energy out! 1. Go on a hike! 2. Play in a field! 3. Learn how to ride a bike...kinda :P... Make sure to get moving for at least a few hours a day during these times. If you can't then at least make sure the kiddos are :)
To our amazing SafeSplash Families and Friends: In this time of unpredictability, we believe swimming could be one of the best and safest activities. However, under the current advisement of the CDC as well as our State Health Department and with an abundance of caution, we are temporarily suspending swim lessons at SafeSplash-San Jose to do our part in mitigating the spread of Coronavirus. SafeSplash-San Jose will be not hold lessons from March 15 until April 7th while we monitor the situation.
