Just after 4 am on January 1, 2021, an on-duty CSO observed a subject attempting to break into the Riverview Bicycle Compound. Sacramento State Police responded and apprehended the subject, who was identified as Tyler NOONIS (age 26). He was arrested for Attempt Burglary and Possession of Burglary Tools. Great job to our CSO’s!
CASE UPDATE: The reported theft of camera equipment from the Library Quad on October 11, 2020 has been resolved and the equipment returned. Thank you to all who provided information on this case!
Monthly Uniform Crime Reporting Statistics for October
ATTENTION HORNETS: Your help is needed! The subjects pictured below are wanted for questioning regarding a theft of camera equipment that occurred at the Library Quad on Sunday October 11, 2020 at approximately 9:18am. If you know the identity of either of these subjects or have additional information regarding the theft or whereabouts of the stolen equipment, please call the Sac State Police Department at (916) 278-6000.
Just after midnight on November 21, 2020, Sac State Police conducted a vehicle stop for a traffic violation near the football stadium. The driver, identified as Aaron ROGERS (age 20), was found to have a warrant for his arrest. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana, a stolen handgun and ammunition. ROGERS was arrested and booked into the Sacramento Main Jail.
Just before 11pm on September 24, 2020, Sac State Police contacted a subject who was looking into vehicles in Lot 6 near Benicia Hall. The subject, identified as Raymond SALVADOR (age 47), was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested and released via citation.
Just before 9am on September 8, 2020, Sac State Police received a call of a person peering into vehicles at Folsom Hall. The person was identified as Aaron RUTLEDGE (age 46) and was found to have a no-bail arrest warrant. He was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
At 5:20pm on September 1, 2020, Sac State Police were called to Sequoia Hall regarding a person loitering in the bathroom. Upon contact, the subject was found to have a no-bail warrant for a parole violation. The subject, identified as Mark ARNAUDO (age 57), was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
At 5:45pm on August 31, 2020, a backpack was left unattended in Parking Structure 1 while the owner was exercising. A subject, later identified Jacob NELSON (age 40), drove by on a bicycle and took the backpack. He was subsequently tracked to a nearby campsite and found in possession of the stolen property. He was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
Just after 9 pm on August 26, 2020, Sac State Police observed a subject within the locked fence area of the Res Hall pool. The subject, identified as Jose RANGEL (age 27), admitted to entering without permission and was found in possession of an unlawful fixed-blade knife. He was arrested and booked into the Sac County Jail.

To keep you fully informed about the level of criminal activity on campus, the Sacramento State Police Department will post its reportable crime statistics each month. Below are the June 2020 UCR (Uniform Crime Reporting) Statistics for the Sacramento State campus:

Other intentions are to gain access to your email accounts to phish for personal data, including bank information. Please be aware of this so that you do not become a victim.
At approximately 4:30 pm on April 16, 2020, Sacramento State custodial staff observed a man inside of a locked building, who subsequently fled through an open window. Sac State Police responded and detained the man, who was in possession of a campus laptop computer recently stolen from Brighton Hall. The suspect, Drakkar Jabari JENKINS (age 27) was arrested for burglary. Great job to Facilities staff and Officer Light!
On March 15, 2020, Sacramento State Police responded to a burglary report at the campus Starbucks in Riverfront Center. After a detailed investigation, officers determined that the crime was committed by two persons, Adam Keith PIKE (age 35) and Charles Richard ROCHE (age 40). On March 21, 2020, ROCHE was add-booked for the crime at the Sacramento County Main Jail, where he was already in custody on a parole violation. PIKE remains at-large and is wanted for burglary. He is a White male, 5’8, 180 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes.
