Congratulations to Professor Evangeline Ballerini in Biological Sciences for publishing her paper in PNAS titled: POPOVICH, encoding a C2H2 zinc-finger transcription factor, plays a central role in the development of a key innovation, floral nectar spurs, in Aquilegia. Congratulations to our physics department in NSM for being recognized as one of the largest departments in the nation among bachelor’s only departments, measured by the number of degrees granted per year (there are 503 such departments in the country).
