Here’s a smile to start your Monday! Gumdrop, our puppy who received lifesaving surgery to remove part of her intestine, is doing great. She is now recovering from a spay surgery after sailing past the 3lb mark on her way to 4lbs! #gains We hope to have her available for adoption soon, so stay tuned on social for announcements!

It’s Sunday, which means it’s our weekly Feral and Community Cat Clinic and 66 cats are receiving spay and neuter surgeries today! Sspca.org/feralcats

SAVE THE DATE! Join us for the 2nd Annual Art Fur Paws auction benefiting the Sacramento SPCA. This event has been made possible through donations from local artists, as well as supporters of the shelter. The eclectic array of artistic talent includes works by Gregory Kondos, Ruth Rippon, Gerald Walburg, Maija Peeples Bright, Laureen Landau and Andrea Smith, just to name a few. Tune in beginning November 19th to browse the fine and decorative art, collectibles, jewelry and antiques. All proceeds from this auction will benefit the animals.
