I do need to ask for your patience though. The effect this pandemic has had on my business, my livelihood and my life has been overwhelming. When you work as a service provider for 10 yrs and 70% of your income is stripped away suddenly, and there is NO financial assistance available (in case y...ou didn’t know those programs for small businesses were depleted long before many could even apply), and you live alone, with no living family to lean on you and no help it is NECESSARY to go inward to try and navigate how to survive. In all my trying to survive I am STILL FOCUSED ON YOU. That said, I am working hard to restructure, rebuild, reformat and it is A LOT. I had to switch web hosting sites and unfortunately learned the hard way that all of my previous content is not in a compatible format with this new site so I am having to rebuild EVERYTHING. I also still expanding my product line, and am being met with challenges with shipping delays or out of stock supplies as a result of our current circumstances. So I ask that you hang in here with me! I am still fulfilling product orders though have taken my previous store offline as I will have an all new streamlined store directly on my website that will make it super easy for you to order from. I’m almost done adding required content! But I’m one person and need to pause mindfully so I’m not overwhelmed. Anyway! Sorry to be MIA but it’s NOT because you aren’t on my mind! Hi loves! I know I’ve been MIA for the last couple weeks. As a service provider and small business owner, having the order to close my doors has been a whirlwind. As most of you know I’m in process of launching more of my own line of skincare products and oh the timing, right?! I recognize it is the universe’s way of saying I needed a little push and can handle it but whew! I’ve been thinking about all of you and hoping you are navigating through this in healthy ways. It’s... unprecedented times for all of us and really important to remember that it’s ok to feel angry, frustrated, helpless, confused and concerned. BUT don’t sit in those feelings. Feel them and let them go! I’m taking this opportunity to go inward. To reconnect with friends and family, finish (or start) projects or hobbies I’ve put off due to lack of time. Not because I’m not affected by all this. I definitely am. I miss working. I miss my clients!! You are my family and I miss you all so much. These actions are helping soothe my soul and keeping my focus on things I have control over. And even though I can’t see you right now do NOT stop caring for yourself. I know a lot of us feel like hot messes right now. I’ve barely a lash extension left, my hair is approaching that awkward length and OMG I need to keep outta sweatpants. But I’m looking at it like this - we are all of us beautiful. And diving inward presents opportunities to discover a deeper beauty that lies within, if we choose. Empathy, compassion, supporting others those are beautiful expressions that can truly benefit the soul as we cocoon. And for me it is helping to nourish and heal my spirit until I can see your lovely faces again. Which keeps my anxiety in check. So I’m hanging to that. Hope. Opportunities. Growth. (Just not in the waistline jeez!) And a reminder that this is temporary. Good morning lovelies! It’s challenging times out there, for sure. Between social media and the news it is easy to quickly succumb to the overwhelm or panic. I encourage you to take pause, breathe, and TRUST. The cancellations and closures of large capacity events and businesses is intended to help slow down the COVID virus so as not to overwhelm our national healthcare infrastructure. Doing so helps to insure our healthcare workers are able to offer the best support and car...e during this situation!! That said I am just one person and my studio is always one on one. I ALWAYS comply with Universal Precautions in regard to the safety of my clients as well as my own. Being self employed this has always been a forerunner of importance in my practice as missing work for me is the equivalent of unpaid time off. (And these bills don’t pay themselves, unfortunately!) My environment is sterile and safe per the CDC and BBC. I am also bloodborne pathogens certified which isn’t required of my profession but that’s how much safety means to me. As of right now I am still taking appointments. I am always happy to ship products out, I just ask for your patience as lines can get long at the post office, too, so I am shipping 2x a week during this time. This beauty had biweekly treatments for about 10 months and now comes in for maintenance treatments that continue to work in tandem with her recommended home care. Hyperpigmentation can take time to resolve and often requires the most patience in achieving desired skin goals. I’m grateful to be part of the process of this beautiful woman achieving those goals! Lighting in last pic isn’t the best but those results are impossible to miss.
