Sacred Mother Earth

Happy Sacred Mother Earth day!!!! I just wanted to share a few ways you can tune into the life giving, all sustaining force that nourishes each one of us daily by giving in your own unique way. Here are some examples: Read a story about the Indigenous Peoples of the land in which you occupy to your children, friends or self.... Pick up trash in your neighborhood or an area that needs it Set up a good recycling system in your home or place of work Watch a documentary about nature, the affects of global warming, animal cruelty, biodiversity, such as deforestation, land-use change, intensified agriculture and livestock production or the growing illegal wildlife trade, these are the real dis-eases of our world Eat a plant based meal or go dairy free & sugar free for a week. (If you'd like help with this or a good program dm me.) TURN OFF THE NEWS & watch something positive Take a barefoot walk in nature & or visit a body of water Know exactly what you are putting in & on your body. (This includes medicine, bath & body products, laundry detergents, dishwashing liquid and so forth) Please add anything to the list in which you think could be helpful in honoring our Earth Mother.
