Join the virtual rally! Today is Latina Equal Pay Day, which means Latinas work all of 2019 and this far into 2020 to earn what white men earned last year alone. In other words, Latinas had to work for 22 months to make what white men made in just 12 months. On average, Latinas are paid 45% less than white men and 30% less than white women. The pay gap is even worse for Latina mothers: They earn 55% less than white fathers. The average Latina ends up missing more than one million dollars in lost income over the course of her career.
