A reminder: This Saturday is your last opportunity until April to see the Sacramento Rock and Radio Museum at 911 20th Street in Midtown. AND, we have two special guests, Marti Smiley Childs, and Jeff March, who are bringing all their books to sign and sell. Come by from 6-9 and check out the books and the Museum collection.

We haven't been on FB for awhile. But, we are BACK OPEN FOR THE SEASON! Come by any Second Saturday through October and check out over 3500 items reflecting our LOCAL rock history (Sacramento/Davis). 6P-9P 911 20th Street.

The Museum will hibernate while we frame up and integrate some of the cool items we've acquired over the last few months. But, don't forget that we might be able to arrange a tour for a reasonable donation. And, we'd love to host your private event!

This Saturday, October 10, is the last Second Saturday of the official season. So, if you don't want to wait until April, stop by the Museum 6P-9P and say, "Hello."

Many people came by and talked about the launch of Sacramento's K-ZAP. Lots of folks happy it's back. Come by August 8th and check out the latest in the collection dating back to 1957 and including items from this year.

Lots of people coming in talking about Sacramento's K-ZAP coming to the airwaves on July 4th. It was fun! Come by July 11th from 6P-9P and check out the Museum.

June 13th is the next Second Saturday. We'll be open 6P-9P. Come by and ask questions!

We had some terrific visitors on Second Saturday in April. Some fun stories about past rock experiences. Lots of people what to talk about K-ZAP. Come see the Museum collection on May 9th!

Several posters from the Museum will be on display at the West Sac Community Center at Merkeley and West Capitol through March. Most have a direct connection to my fair home town.

The end of a great season! The Museum won't be open to the general wandering Second Saturday public again until April. But, you can arrange a tour (for a modest donation). We added lots of cool things to the growing exhibit with more coming. New stuff includes 2 new Avett Brothers posters, a really cool program from a 1977 Jackson Browne-Warren Zevon show, the Herman's Hermits poster, and other goodies. We are going to be featured at a showing in the City Hall building in West Sacramento this coming February.
