8/17/2016: Ribbon-cutting Ceremony for Sacramento Chinese of IndoChina Friendship Association -SCIFA Thanks to thousands of people who came out to support our Ribbon-cutting Ceremony to dedicate a new kitchen. Over a short period of time, with monetary assistance and support from the community, the Board of Directors held a grassroots campaign and was able to raise more than $250,000 to build a modern commercial-grade kitchen. Twice a month, the Board provides complimen...tary vegetarian lunches serving more than 1,000 families in the community of South Sacramento. The Temple and kitchen will continue to serve as a focal venue for community events. We are so grateful to have the community unite and support our association. SCIFA serves as gathering venue for community events and we are here to take care of the needs of the community.
