Our owner and lead therapist Jennifer Love finally got a knee surgery date! Surgery will be 6/30, with 8 weeks immobilization followed by PT. Hoping to return to providing massage by October 1! While our leave continues, we highly recommend Nurturing Touch Massage & Acupuncture in Rocklin. An amazing staff of therapists at a woman-owned business in a fantastic space. We trust them to take excellent care of you!

Trauma and toxic thinking habits (from trauma, life, etc) are not just stored in the mind but also the body- your cells, muscle, DNA everywhere. You cannot full...y and effectively heal from trauma without healing the mind AND body. Reconnecting to your body and feeling safe within your body is one of the most fundamental keys to sustainable healing. These are just some of the most widely studied and effective physical therapies to help heal trauma, PTSD, cPTSD etc. I highly recommend discussing which one may be the best for you with your therapist (many trauma-informed therapists may even be skilled in these practices or know someone who is).

Woke up to GREAT news this morning - Medical Massage is now considered an essential service in the State of California! Hallelujah!! And I just spoke to Sacramento County and they confirmed that they agree!! Amen!! We can open our doors for all of you who have been referred to our clinic by a doctor or chiropractor for medical massage. I will open our calendar today for you to schedule at our new location at 1007 39th St, Sacramento, CA 95816! _____________________________...___________ California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has broadened the definition of medical" massage services. While the State previously stated that massage was allowed as an essential service only for those working for a physician or chiropractor, they have now expanded that definition. According to communications from the CDPH, Essential Services Inquiries: Medical massage (massage done based on a referral from a doctor or chiropractor) is permitted indoors at this time. Therapeutic massage is not permitted indoors in counties on the monitoring list for three consecutive days where personal services are not permitted. Additionally, the State further clarified this statement by stating that: "Medical massage (based on a referral from a doctor or chiropractor) is permitted indoors, even if the county is on the monitoring list, and that medical massage is considered an essential service.

We have a new location in MM Pain Management Center, 1007 39th Street, across the street from Mercy General Hospital in Midtown Sacramento! We had planned to reopen on August 1. With the current Sacramento Health Order in place, massage therapy is currently prohibited. We will keep you posted when we will be able to schedule appointments again!
