Very excited to have been given an award today in Alameda during Coast Guard Aux training and classes for District 11. I was the only one awarded this weekend ...which just blew my mind. Teared up for sure cuz I never expected to be acknowledged for doing something everyone here is trained to do. Big conference on possible deployment to Florida for hurricane. I am so blessed to be working along side such experienced comrades. They have taught me so much and continue to share all their expertise. See more
