We’d like to introduce one of our legal assistants, Karina Silva. At our office, Karina is in charge of writing motions for early termination of probation and P.C 1203.4 petitions for dismissals (expungements). Karina graduated Cum Laude from the University of California, Irvine (UCI), with a degree in Political Science. While at UCI, she worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for several political science and legal writing professors. Karina also tutors English Language Development Students at Pomona High School and volunteers there as a mock trial coach.

We are proud to introduce our Law Office Operations Manager, JARED GONZALES. He is responsible for coordinating law enforcement discovery, DMV litigation, and expert witnesses. His duties also include budget and case management. Jared graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2017 with a B.A. in Political Science. As a student, he was on the Dean’s List, President’s List and was inducted into the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society. While in school he competed on the Cal Poly Mock Trial Team and served as the organization’s President. On the team, he was awarded the Outstanding Attorney distinction at the USC-UNLV Mock Trial Competition and lead the team through the opening round of national championships in 2017.

We moved our main office down the street. We wanted to stay in Claremont but needed more space to accommodate our expanding staff and attorney roster. We found a newly remodeled building very close to the 10 freeway on Indian Hill Blvd. Here’s how it looks. Details about our staff and attorneys to follow.

Hello! It's been awhile since our last post. There have been many developments. We are now located just north of the 10 freeway on Indian Hill Blvd. in Claremont. Pictures of the brand-new office and some new staff to come. Stay tuned!

Congratulations to legal interns Andy Kuo and Tammy Nguyen! Both started school as full time students this fall at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. At Sabado & Associates we hate to see our best and brightest leave, but education takes priority. Good Luck guys, we are proud of you!

Meet legal intern, Stephanie Baeza. Stephanie is a Political Science major at Cal Poly Pomona University in her senior year. She has minors in International Studies and Spanish. Her extracurricular activities at Cal Poly include competing as a member of both the Mock Trial Team and the Model UN team. Her volunteer efforts are spent working with foster-care children at Together We Rise and the AVID program. At Sabado & Associates, she reviews and summarizes evidence in juvenile and criminal matters. Often times she serves as a liaison between attorneys and other support professionals such as investigators and forensic psychologists.

We welcome the most recent addition to our team, Krystal, Law Clerk. Krystal’s work in our firm focuses on family and criminal litigation. As a law clerk, she comes to us with tremendous credentials. Krystal has recently finished her first year at Golden Gate University School of Law. At Golden Gate she finished at the top of her class in legal research and writing. While obtaining a legal education, she has worked at the Legal Aid Foundation and the Neighborhood Legal S...ervices. Prior to law school she has served as a JusticeCorps Graduate Fellow working for the Superior Court of California specializing in family law forms, pleadings and judgments, as well as overseeing the family law workshops. In 2010, Krystal graduated from Cal Poly Pomona where she earned her B.S. in psychology, a minor in criminal justice, and where she was on the President’s and Dean’s List for academic excellence. Next up is legal intern, Michelle Gonzalez. Michelle is a criminology major at the University of La Verne. At ULV, she founded the University’s first mock trial team. At the office, Michelle’s days are spent reviewing police reports, preparing subpoenas, and coordinating expert witnesses and investigators.

We’d like to introduce another of our Legal Assistants, Tammy Nguyen. Tammy graduated with a degree in criminology in the spring of 2012 from Cal Poly Pomona. While at Cal Poly, she interned at the Los Angeles County Superior Court in Pomona. She then served as an intern here at Sabado & Associates. After graduation, she became a Legal Assistant in our office and is currently in charge of all motions for post-conviction relief such as expungements, early termination of probation, and juvenile record sealing.

Meet one of our Legal Assistants, Andy Kuo. Andy graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in international business and a minor in business law. At Cal Poly, Andy was captain of the award-winning Cal Poly mock trial team where he applied his understanding of DUIs and wrongful death negligence lawsuits. At our offices, Andy’s primary duty is to assist attorneys with trial preparation in the field of family and criminal law. He also works frequently on contracts, business incorporation and code enforcement issues.
