In an effort to stay sane while cooped up indoors, I've been spending time cleaning my climbing equipment. I am always so amazed by how dirty my ropes are. Here's a reminder of how you can clean your fabrics (rope), as well as your metals (cams, carabiners, etc.).

SHELTER-IN-PLACE COMPLIANCE Well...it's here. We've all been asked to do our part, and stay in place while the city health workers try to get a handle on Covid-19. We will be rescheduling our March workshops. The April workshops will be addressed as needed in the coming weeks. As a small business, and active member in the community, I hope that you'll not lose hope, and that you'll continue to look to SAANO for your training needs. Our calendar remains open for registrations, and we need you, as do all the small businesses in our communities! If you are registered for a March workshop/private training, I will be reaching out to you via separate email regarding the specifics of your workshop/training. While the current Shelter-In-Place order extends to April 7, they do have the ability to cancel that Shelter-In-Place order at any time. Therefore, if you are registered for a workshop in April, May, June, July...Please stand-bye and we will be addressing those workshops on a rolling basis. If you have climbing ambitions/goals for the year, please know that SAANO will be here when this is all over, and I want to train with you. IN THE MEAN TIME... Eat your vitamins, wash your hands, get appropriate rest, and don't go out in public if you're sick. Let's not forget the perks of spending time in nature and the outdoors (vitamin sun, vitamin exercise). Go out on hikes, trail runs, bike rides, and beach strolls. Work those hang-boards, at-home yoga, meditation, and don't forget to celebrate St. Patty's Day (virtual pub anyone?)! If you have friends or family on the front lines of this, please reach out to them with gratitude and encouragement.
