Although we’re planning away for next year, this slower year has me thinking a lot about past clients and their weddings. This one was 7yrs ago now, on the day after Thanksgiving and there are so many things I still love about it. The fact that @angiesilvyphotography was able to squeeze in a mini boudoir session while Gina was getting ready, her bountiful and classic bouquet, the setting at the @hotelvitale overlooking the iconic SF Ferry Building and Bay Bridge, the cable ca...rs gliding past already decked out in Christmas wreaths, the surprise iPad video of Jason Alexander aka George Costanza sending G+C his well wishes, the list goes on. But I’d say the most amazing thing was that because it was the day after Thanksgiving, both families were already all together. And thinking about them now, I love that they have their anniversary each year over the holiday where we celebrate what we’re most thankful for. #rydersloanevents See more

Last Monday, a lifelong dream of mine came true. @martha_weddings featured a wedding that I truly poured my heart into for clients that became friends and a creative team that blew me away every step of the way with their talent. I am so grateful to @erinheartscourt and @martha_weddings for sharing our work in such a beautiful way and for helping to finally make it into Martha! I will definitely be sharing more photos of this special one! I have struggled though with sharin...g this news considering the terrible injustices going on in our country. I hope that my followers and friends understand that by me posting this, I am not saying I don’t support #blacklivesmatter or that I’m not continuing to educate myself daily on how my privilege as a white woman has contributed to the hurt and pain that black people have felt for a very long time. I am still here supporting this incredible movement and mourning the black lives that have been senselessly lost.
