Monday Tip From Jamie Hagiya - CrossFit Athlete: Double Under Speed & Control As I was doing Double Unders yesterday in @jam_method I only had 40 seconds to get as many as I could. So I had to increase my speed and tempo when I normally do them nice and controlled (with my breathing) and almost think of them as rest. So depending on the workout or situation you should be able to have both of these in your workout arsenal. ... Couple Tips- Feet together Push through your toes (on the balls of your feet, heels shouldn’t hit the ground) Hands are like you’re bringing a broomstick to your hips Elbows slightly bent & behind your body Wrist & Palms open up (facing forward) and in front of your body You should be able to feel the tension on your rope (for beginners a heavier cable where you feel the tension is key) Timing is everything. Wait for the rope to get right in front of your feet before you jump and that way you only have to hang in the air for one more rotation Hope these help and do yourself a favor and gift yourself a @rxsmartgear rope!
