Russ & Cori's JP Fruit & Veg Stories

I guess life has taken us full steam ahead in more ways we can say.. If we didn't say, Russ has been preoccupied with retirement. He has been learning how to do that and decompress. It has been exactly 1 1/2 years since he stopped being an RN at the hospital, and only just now he has learned to really relax, finally! Yay! Now that is good food! Great for Heart and Soul for us both!' We both agree we had PTSD after Hostpial Nursing. And as a matter of fact, that all hos...pital nurses should be diagnosed with that condition. Our preoccupation has been this learning curve. Not as just one, but it affects both of us as it should. Ups and downs, sideways, circles, and many reverses! But here we are Full Steam ahead! Hopefully more to come and checking in...

Aloha guys FYI...we are still taking our fruits and veggies! Sorry not posting or vlogging in a million years, but we have been and will always take our Fruit and Veggies (JP)!

OK, we know it has been quite awhile since we charted any new news...so just to be brief, here goes. The biggest news that has occurred since our last entry is my Step-Mom/Aunt finally got on Juice Plus after many attempts in the recent years past. She knew from much education over the years that this is exactly what she should do and of course needed in her body for many reasons. She touted she could never stay on it as she couldn't deal with the detoxing effect in the v...ery beginning of taking that many fruits and veggies. She was not willing to chance 'explosive flatus' while at work! You know the old adage 'never trust a fart'! Well after much adieu, she agreed because I sent myself back home to coach and educate her one more time, but this time I was on vacation to help her with some Skin/ulcer conditions on her feet. One on each foot. These conditions became a raging problem as she was a fairly new diabetic as well. So much to say, but she had to stay off her feet as much as possible & wear special boots if she was ever to be up for any length of time. This was to off load the direct weight bearing issues. She needed to have special wound care for close to a year & 1/2. Three times a week. Better sleep, better diet including better nutrition if she was ever going to jump this hurdle. Now that her condition kept her off work, she agreed to give the JP one more try. She did! A few days went to a week, then a week to a month, and now every month since September. She has gotten raving reviews from her Podiatrist/Surgeon and Nurses. She no longer has wounds on her feet from that year and 1/2 past. Boots are gone & she admits she was able to go through the detoxing at home without anyone to know the better, which made it easy. She wanted to congratulate me and say she owes it all to eating that many fruits and veggies giving her that antioxidant blast each and every day. It made her skin heal rapidly in comparison and adding a few other tweaks to her diet with more sleep. This did the trick. She is tickled pink. The wanted to thank the JP company and has a new lease on life.
