I'm home!!! -22 van nights on the road, 19 paint studies (of varying success), exploring, discovering, fully immersed in my own personal curiosity and bliss. Ta...king it slow, going remote, stopping frequently just to gape... Coast and then big big desert. Before "the end times" I had planned that my 60th year would be full of international exploring, oh well, we adapt. I'm still organizing the bzillion photos I took on my trip. In the meantime, here's a 12x16 plein air created at Mohave National Monument, near Hole in the Wall. I like the way it turned out. The glowing cholla had me oooing and ahhing all the way to the border!
