A Statement from Ruby's Place . At Ruby’s Place, we believe everyone should be empowered to create their path and have freedom of choice. We were founded with the core mission to help women, and throughout our 50 years, we have given women hope and helped them heal. Women have fought to have the constitutional right to choose, and today, that constitutional right is in jeopardy. We believe in action when rights are in jeopardy. Therefore, Ruby’s Place is mobilizing an interna...l task force to plan and prepare for women who come to California seeking medical services. We expect that some of them will be victims of rape, domestic violence, or human trafficking. We will stand ready to support medical care providers and all survivors in identifying and caring for people who need our help. Every woman should have the right to choose compassionate and safe health care and, most importantly, the right to have autonomy over her body. #RubysPlace #WomenRightsMatter #California #Rights
