From one of our regular shoppers at Bloom Again: Photo shoots for social media take dishes, linens, and a variety of props. This costs money! Grateful for the team work at the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Thrift Shop. They do so much in to support our community, with there fundraising and I find the best treasures for my posts. Denise

"This notion of a personal paradise may seem simple-minded in the context of the angst of the shutdown. But sooner than we think, life will return to its frenetic pace, and it is this moment of stasis that will pass. I cannot remember a time when the world stopped like this, not even in the bucolic surroundings of my distant childhood, and it seems that the gods are not punishing us, but trying to tell us something about living a slower and more contained existence. This may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see just how more tranquil our lives can be." A unique perspective on opportunities presented by our lockdown and lessons from the garden by Adrian Higgins. From the Washington Post https://www.washingtonpost.com//02921c8a-8b11-11ea-8ac1-bf
