With 2020 behind us 2021 brings new hope and excitement. Although we were all faced with challenges it is so inspiring to reflect on 2020 and realize that despite many obstacles, we persevered and came through ready to meet 2021 with new hope and faith for the future. This is true of the Foundation as well. Looking back on the past year we realize we have not only persevered, but we have in fact thrived because of the generosity of this great community. We all know we live in a great community...but this is how people help people... the short version. The RRH Foundation and Women in Philanthropy sponsored their annual Christmas Tree Village last week; Avis Rent a Car sponsored an amazing Christmas tree for the event featuring a fun 2020 theme complete with masks, hand sanitizers and thermometer;... Four very awesome women bid on and won the tree (Mary Hughes, Ricca Charlon, Mary Silberberg and Esther Sires); The women then donated the tree to our local police officers! This is what community is all about. Pictured with the officers are two of these special ladies, Esther Sires and Ricca Charlon. Thank you all for what you do!
