Good day everyone; well we are headed north, after getting limits of Yellowtail, a handful of grouper, and a few Black Sea Bass. We are now headed to an area and try our luck at some Calico Bass, Halibuts, White Sae Bass. We will do this for a day and then head up to the Bluefin grounds for our final day of fishing. Not much more to report, so until tomorrow. Wish us luck. Team R/p BeNt RoDs 4 LiFe

Good morning everyone; Well the weather is beautiful, the seas are flat, and the Yellowtail are biting. We had an excellent day of Yellowtail fishing, with some Grouper and Sea Bass in the mix. Most of the Yellowtail are in the 12 to 15 pound range, with a few larger one's up to 30 plus pounds. This was an excellent start to our trip. We will give this another day, before going north. So with that note, wish us luck. Team R/p "BeNt RoDs 4 LiFe"

We departed on the John Collins trip. Unfortunately John is under the weather. But we wish him a fast recovery. We have a good load of bait and we are headed for points south. Weather continues to be excellent, with flat seas and patchy skies. Not much more to report. So until tomorrow. Good luck and good fishing. BeNt RoDs 4 LiFe

Good morning everyone; Well we had an excellent day of Bluefin tuna action. The morning was a bit slow, but by mid-afternoon, the bite was steady. Most of the fish in the afternoon were in the 22 to 30 pound range, with a few in the 50 to 60 pound category. The fish in the morning were a bit larger, in the range of 90 to 140 pounds. Weather continues to be good, with 12 to 15 knots of breeze, clear skies, and sunny. With one more full day, we are hoping to find another good school to finish off our trip. Everyone say hello, and wished that you could be here to enjoy R/p living. Until tomorrow, wish us luck. Team R/p "BeNt RoDs 4 LiFe"

The Royal Polaris is going the extra mile to ensure passenger safety from COVID 19. Very Nice! This was off the website today.... The Royal Polaris is installing Phenomenal Aire Cold Plasma Generators into their HVAC units.... Phenomenal Aire Cold Plasma Generators will kill viruses, bacteria & mold spores. It also eliminates allergens & odors and breaks down volatile organic compounds. Cleaning Air Naturally Emulating nature, Phenomenal Aire Cold Plasma Generators (CPG) produce an electric field filled with highly charged ions. This electrified field is known as a plasma field. The ions created within the field act as a natural scrubbing agent for the air passing through the field. Cleaning Air Safely The plasma field generated by Phenomenal Aire is encapsulated within an air handler’s duct work and there are no harmful byproducts. There is no detectable ozone generated during the Phenomenal Aire process. How Phenomenal Aire Works Phenomenal Aire creates a plasma field within an HVAC system. As air flows through the field molecules are charged, creating ions. These positive and negative ions then naturally scrub the passing air. The ions then travel on into the living space, where they safely kill mold, viruses, and bacteria.

To all of our valued customers, The crew of the RP has been very busy, since returning from our last trip on April 1st, doing our yearly maintenance. We will be going to the ship yard on April 27th where we will remain for at least two weeks going through Coast Guard and the Bureau of Shipping Inspections. With any luck we hope to be back in operation around June 1st. Providing the Bluefin are biting, and Covid-19 restrictions allow, we will be running 1 to 3 day trips thro...ugh the first half of June. Covid-19 continues to be a concern to all of us. We will be working with the health department and following their guidelines. Our Crew will be sanitizing the boat to the best of their ability before each trip. Air conditioning filters will be changed before all three day trips or longer along with changing the comforters. Regular linens will be changed after every trip. Lysol wipes will be available throughout each trip for passengers. Along with this the crew will be going through the boat during each day wiping common area surfaces. The office is now open from 8:30 to 4:30 Monday through Saturday. Monica or Jen will be looking forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Frank Lo Preste See more
