What happened? Not many cases to work in November and December then all of a sudden the phone started ringing on January 2nd and it hasn't stopped since. 35 new cases this year including 5 today. Wow! No days off in site.

The runaway/missing case has been solved and Abby was returned to her home safely. Thanks to Sheriff Detective Sanchez for working with us to solve this.

Recently finished a homicide investigation in Wasco and a burglary investigation in Kernville, California. Successful on both counts. Knowing that our Police and Sheriff departments are overwhelmed, some people are turning to Rowland Investigations to supplement the criminal investigation. If you willingly let someone borrow your car and they don't return it, it isn't a criminal act. The police will not take a theft report because you "voluntarily" gave it to them therefore it is a "civil" problem if they don't return it. You have to sue them to get it back. Rowland Investigations successfully tracked an embezzled car to the central coast and recovered it for the client. Case closed.

Seems there are some very dishonest people who care less whom they hurt. Working on cases in which a supposed "contractor" asked a business owner for a large deposit on a job. Business owner gave him the deposit after making a copy of the guy's driver license and confirming his phone number. Nevertheless, the contractor never showed up to do the job. Moral of the story, check references and DO NOT give a deposit up front before the job is done.

Just returned from Frazier Park and Gorman, CA where I started at 5am this morning hunting a person who owes my client $17,000 and was eluding service of court papers. Process servers tried. The Sheriff tried. I tracked him from Frazier Park to the trailer he was staying in south of Gorman, CA and personally served him. You can run from me but it will just make you tired. I will catch you.

Recently asked by a major insurance company to track down the nearest living relatives of a person killed in a car accident. They knew where one relative was, but she would not cooperate with them. This morning I interviewed her aunt and cousins who filled me in on the family tree. Case solved.

From time to time we are contacted by someone who wants to find a person. We ask a lot of questions to make sure we feel comfortable that our client isn't looking for that person to do them harm. Even then, we make it clear that if they hire us and we find the person, we will let that person know who our client is and give them the option of contacting the person who hired us. We honor the wishes of the person we have located to remain anonymous if that is what they prefer.
