Today was another one of those days when you're glad to be alive, glad to be you and glad to be on Route 66!! Kitty and Jim James put together a great group mee...ting at the Midpoint Cafe today to welcome Jim James and John to Texas on their journey to Illinois!! They are working on the Bob Waldmire tribute!! A big Thanks Jim, Kitty, and Brenda!! It was a fantastic meeting and was great that Mike and Sharon just happened to be in town too, along with Efren and his mother and grandmother!! Bob and Cheryl were also able to come over as were Jim and Penny. See more

Friends, fellow roadies and Bob Waldmire fans. Here is our upcoming itinerary for the trip and project. We will be staying at these locations: Oct 3rd at Earl's... Motor Court in Winslow. Oct 4th in Tucumcari. Oct 5th in OKC Oct 6th in Joplin Oct 7-8-9-10-11-12 at Buz's place. One of these days we will go up to Pontiac. Also one of the days we will go to Litchfield for dinner at The Ariston Cafe. Return trip is not yet set. I will post dates as we get closer. Our plans are to make as many stops as possible both ways. If you can hook up with us at any point please let us know. My cell is 1 760 617 3991 text or call.
