Teacher Grants Celebration & Parade thanks to the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, Pasadena Educational Foundation and College Football Playoff Foundation. Teachers and principals received $140,000 in grants benefitting thousands of students in the Pasadena area. The PEF Teacher Grants help educators take their creative projects from idea to reality and enhance the classroom experience for their students. The 2020 PEF Teacher Grant winners decorated their cars and received their awards at the first-ever teacher celebratory parade. The Tournament of Roses and Verizon partnered to support the launch of the Day One DO Study Zone, an outdoor learning pod that will be available to local students at no cost to families. This allows students to reserve a workspace at a designated time, receive access to the internet, school supplies, instructional assistance, and additional support services.
