The Treasury Department has now directed public companies to return Payroll Protection Program aid that was meant for smaller businesses hurt by the coronavirus pandemic. As stated in my Monday post, it was COVID 19 abuse for certain publicly traded companies to drain the Small Business Payroll Protection Fund. The Treasury Department apparently agrees.

Really? This is COVID 19 abuse. The payroll protection fund should have helped small businesses, rather than high end steakhouses with millions in the bank. Taxpayers should not be held responsible for funding publicly traded companies (not small businesses) with forgivable loans.
