We just put in hotel safes in each room along with fresh robes and towels and now there is an ironing board and iron in the master . Just had the carpets cleaned ..what a difference !!

We put in lovely window wood sills in the barn and revarnished the bar & dessert area !! its so warm and rich looking

We have added new generators to the Barn and the bed and breakfast for those nasty power outages. We have new patio heaters on the front porch and we're adding one to the smoking area. We also added hotel room safes ( 2) in each room for your valuables and we have added security cameras to the venue as several brides requested that to watch their stuff. It's been busy busy busy

It took weeks to get made but its gorgeous !! For our first wedding people walked in and their mouths dropped open . The bride was SUPER happy

The bridal set of antique furniture in the Bridal suite got delivered YAY !! it's been completely sanded - stained and reupholstered. It looks amazing ......

Well the new huge rustic bar should be in by August 9th !! I have bought some great stuff for the bar area and more is coming . The hand made bar lights from Indiana were just delivered and my 5 ft set of horns from Texas just arrived just cleaning all the chandeliers to get ready

Well it took 2 days but we fluffed the entire grass area with our fluffer !! what a difference. We also had 2 truck loads of sand delivered to refresh the entire area . The garden area is looking great !! Its been a rush to fix things , clean chandeliers and make everything ready for the wedding season coming up

We are getting ready for our big bar and dessert area to be delivered next month . Our photographer had asked if we could cover up the red beams with material to make the shots look better so Harrison and I were racking our brains with what to do about that and we had to move these trees. Harrison said why not put one next to the beams . It looked so great we put both next to the beams enclosing the area and making it look SPECTACULAR !! . 2 brides came the next day - 1 for... a tour and 1 to make another payment. The one making the payment said these trees are FANTASTIC !! the whole look is so magical..... where did you get them ? I said they were here last month and she said she never even noticed them ?? the next bride saw this set up and said it's like a fairy tale look , she LOVED it and signed up . Well the arch is ready but will have to wait to install until Dec 15th because brides that all ready had a vision of their arch were not happy with the change so close to their date. Even though I am excited to see it up as fast as possible that's selfish of me and I hadn't really thought it out. I have told every bride for 2020 and they are all SUPER excited !! Well we will have to wait till Dec to see it and it will be magnificent

Our sign came in for the new dessert bar !!! I spoke to the guy making our new bar and dessert wall and it should be on time and delivered august 8-10 :)))

I just put down the deposit 2 minutes ago on a brand new bar and full bar back and chairs !!!! Its all hand made by this guy down south and we have been working on colors and styles for 2 weeks. We are putting in a 20 ft bar wall with a 12 foot bar all done to look rustic with antique bar light and those crazy vintage light bulbs AND a matching rustic wall behind the dessert area , and the desert area will have 4 barrels across the bottom and have a rustic wall 7 ft tall and 10 ft wide !! . it will be in by the 2nd week of August :)) I hope I hope I hope

The archway was completed with all the pieces on Friday when I saw it - thank God .... . It has to be sand blasted this week and than I will have my paint by than. It will be the very lightest gold with a bronze lightly sprayed over it for depth. $$$$ thousands later, I and my daughter and her boy friend were in awe..... when we saw it. Harrison said its MAGNIFICENT !! Its my design come to life over the last 3 years. The man making this is the sweetest thing and HIGHLY t...alented . I think he is over 70 so I am grateful every day for his hard work. God Bless HIm !! Well its 13 ft high and 9 ft wide and will have a chandelier in the center hanging down but you will still see the views thru the arch. It will have to be put into the cement for stability so it will be our only arch - I LOVE it ... I just sent photos to our florist and she thinks its breathtaking . It will be unique to our venue as it is a original I will be calling our brides to let them know a date it will be up in the future Cross our fingers See more

A bride left us this beautiful backdrop for photos. We never charge for things like other venues so brides know these things will be free for other brides. :)) I also just got these wonderful cupcake stands they are really magnificent

We had the Rosamond high school prom in April :))) They had a entry made of HUGE balloons and the king and queen took their dance after the announcement It was so beautiful with the tree lights shining thru the windows over the view.

This is Taneka and James . What a crazy day .. it was storming so much there was a river of water that didn't even stop at the sidewalk it just ran over it . The thunder was deafening and than hail hit the building . WEIRD freak calif summer storm . This couple was so upbeat and friendly throughout the whole thing .... James actually met me at the venue glass door as I worriedly look at the river of water running across the turf and he said with a smile " I heard its good luck to get married in the rain " I LOVED their attitude - God Bless Them

Our families love to drink, dance, and party and the staff made it happen! When our time ran out on the venue we were able to take the party out to the guest house and our RVs and continue the celebration till we were exhausted. Every father wants to make his daughter's big day special, so when the next morning my daughter gave me a kiss and said "Thank you daddy for my dream wedding" I could not have been happier. Well one of our beautiful 4 ft tall pearl stands that holds the huge flower balls was broken at this weeks wedding . I'm stressing big time over that as I bought them 4 years ago at a pricey boutique in Santa Monica and now that phone number doesn't work. This is just a heads up for our future brides incase they were counting on the 4 matching stands . I am driving to LA this week - HATE THAT - to try and track one down. ughhh Wonderful couple and they felt bad also.

We've replaced all the lights in the building with Chauvet 4 hex movable lights !! They are the latest tech and can even do a golden amber . They reach from the floor to the ceiling and are super brilliant !! The brides can put them anywhere and they work on WiFi

We have been super busy thank heavens :)) We have added to our winter and summer specials. Winter is a $1000 off for the months of Dec - Jan - Feb - March . We got this fabulous review on Yelp !! that was gone the next day ughhh . I have so many wonderful reviews under unrecommended - were up to 33 now .. so sad ughhh She's so sweet to write this Erica N. 248 friends 2 reviews 2019-02-10 I'm speechless about this venue and the vendors that are included. Everything was perfection, there is not one thing I would have changed or made different. The DJ and photographers (which are included in the package...s) where absolutely perfect and made everything run smooth. The dessert company and food caters were awesome as well. This is one of the only venues I found that when they say all inclusive (just bring your dress) it's the truth, no secrets no hidden fees. The venue and surrounding areas are beautiful. The reception building is decorated beautifully where you don't even have to stress about decorating anything. I definitely give this venue a 5 star review and can't say one negative thing or even suggestion for improvement, because everything was PERFECT! This wonderful dad from LA had built this arch for his beautiful daughters wedding, by hand , almost 3 years ago - LOOK how tiny the pine trees were and there was no roses - now those trees are 30 ft tall !! - Anyways I fell in love with this arch but wanted to design one for our venue . After 3 years of writing back and forth - he works a regular job and this is his hobby - I have delivered $3000 in metal supplies to him and he had these HUGE bars that are taller than me ...bent by one of the few companies in the county that can bend them. My design is so complicated and elaborate - cause that's the way I am ha ha - it will be twice the weight of the old one and will need 6 men to move it and be delivered on a flat bed truck. It will be 14 ft high and over 10 feet wide and will be our permanent arch . We will be putting a chandelier in the middle and it will be magnificent !! I don't know what the final price will be with the barbending and his time but it will be like nothing else and will be antiqued in a gold rust . I don't have a specific time it will be done but we are hoping for around march some time. Hope Hope Hope. See more

Well after taking a floor care course and spending $2000 on supplies & machines , we redid the floors in the venue !!! I knew we had it perfect when people started walking in and said " Oh the floors are still wet " but that is our shine we now have all the time YAY !!!!

We have been so busy ... we have 5 events this month - thank heavens . This lovely couple hand wrote us this fabulous note the morning after their wedding !! BUT even though we literally mopped the floor 3 times in a row the day before their wedding, because of the calif fires every open window and door brought in heavy dust and the floors were yucky. We were so stressed ughhh we kept thinking how can we make sure that the floors will always be perfect ?? So we were on a search .....

Well I have just been notified from the Kern County Fire Dept that no sparklers of any kind can be on the property . Bummer ... just wanted to let my brides know in case they were thinking of it :))

It's been 2 and a half months since we cleared off 1/3 of an acre of weeds to plant 150 plants in mid July . Boy was it hot... Its looking great !! It's all blues - purples and hot pink This is a summer garden and will bloom until probably mid October so crossing my fingers that next year is even bigger and more colorful

We have lots of FREE decor for our brides to use on our free wedding decor page on the website :)) Sandra left us some great stuff for brides to use. We have 6 of these fluffy long burlap decor at 5 ft long and 27 of these gorgeous burlap ringed candles with a strong Vanilla smell. these are just for looks not for burning :))

Maria and George were SOOO wonderful to be around . Their families are from northern calif near Salinas and his dad brought the most wonderful Blackberrys, Raspberries & grapes the BEST I have ever tasted, for ALL the guests - like boxes and boxes and boxes. We could not eat them fast enough :)) Maria rented this classic car and they drove it from the local church they had their wedding at. Than they had their reception at the venue on the same day . Well Rusty our truck ( thats her name ) got a new bumper and rims :) and a new oil pan and lines and electrical. A car this old has parts on it that they just don't make any more so they have to be hand made sorta . Expensive and of course no A/C ha ha . But she's doing OK for her age . Brides love her for photos . We've had whole wedding parties take pictures in the back

From our first initial phone call, to our last hugs goodbye, Paul and Lorie were AMAZING and so easy to work with! They are over accommodating and the best couple to run a venue! We looked at a lot of venues and as soon as we found this hidden treasure we knew this is exactly what is perfect for us. ...The venue is so beautiful, and the reception barn is already decorated so perfectly you don’t have to add much decor to have the perfect day! The food was AMAZING, Laurie helped in every way on our wedding day.. all the way down to pouring me a drink of fireball after the ceremony! Our guest were all amazed at how beautiful everything is and said it couldn’t have been more perfect. Plus, you don’t find many venues that allow you to bring in your own alcohol, and use their bartender that comes inclusive with the package. We did the small package with 60 guest, and ordered pizza for the kiddos! WOW this is truly a warning to future brides looking around at different venues. I just had a family come to me in complete shock and fear last week to sign up for a wedding for THIS next Saturday !!!! ( thank God I had the date open ) Why ?? They had booked a new venue in Tehachapi called Shirleys place that is on a lot of acres but not much else. They received a TEXT message form the venue ( that they showed me ) that the venue was canceling their wedding for 165 people... with 10 days to go because they were not permitted but were now trying to get permitted and their wedding was too big !!!! I said at least you got your money back and the whole family said NO ! they have not given us our money and we had to borrow from every where to pay for your venue . OH MY GOSH !! I had to ask them didn't you know we were here ? The mom said every one in my family is young and we don't have any experience putting on a wedding. We looked at your venue but thought it was too expensive and we could DIY everything ourselves. Now we have already spent THOUSANDS over what you would have charged us by renting Portapotties , tables, chairs , Ice , caterers , Ect... and if we had gone thru you it would have been lots cheaper & stress free. I hope they get their money back. We did something we never do , we rented the venue ala Carte so they could use their caterers and other items because they would have lost their deposits. Well we had the extra sand, so gosh darn it we decided to just weed block all the flower areas and make them pristine. Lots of work but worth it even in the middle of summer heat ha ha .

The will deliver to the venue for the free kids table we set up, so you don't have to pay for catered food, its saves our customers lots of money this way :)) I LOVE this pizza company and especially the garlic flavored crust is soft and fluffy YUM !! They will deliver at either 4:30 - 5:30 or 6:30 you must tell them when you want it delivered and pay by credit card. Each large 2 topping pizza is $10 call them at 661-822-1000 and tell them its for Rose Garden Estate

Well the boys that were helping Luke had to do a family thing the next day so it was up to Luke and I to finish the whole project. We laid all the weed-block and this is me at 5:30 every morning to put in water lines for the last 2 weeks. My thumb had a permanent dent in it for days :)) Well its done and the sand is delivered :)) now we are just putting it down - boy is all this tough in summer heat , but it is looking fabulous. The poor plants are finally perking up now that the water lines are in and they are getting lots of water early every morning.

Boy have we been working our butts off :)) Luke completely stripped the floor for me and this year I did some thing different. I bought a commercial gloss that can be used for hospitals so I'm hoping this shine will last years. The other stuff was for garage floors and lost its gloss after 2 months. I was a little freaked out when I put it on it as it was pure white but it came out SOOOOO beautiful with a deep rich color. It took a couple of days and took me 10 hours of sweat to roll it , but it was worth it

WOW !!! we just got a letter in the mail from YELP that we have won the people love us on Yelp award :))) its totally weird that its for 2018 but they just sent this out in july ?? I had thought maybe we didn't win again this year ( like we did last year :)) it just took them a while to send it out . YAY !!!!!!!!

We received this wonderful thank you card today from one of our brides from Georgia !! You know it made me cry with happiness . We LOVE doing this business and all the great reviews and thoughtful things like this make us feel were doing the right thing. Who writes a thank you card anymore ?? I was so impressed with them as a couple and what fabulous manners . It was so unexpected ... thats what makes it so special

We've been so busy still putting in the plants OMG that is taking so long ( it is a 1/3 of an acre ) We have been doing this ourselves . My son Luke and his friends Harrison and is brother , so ..... between 2 football practices a day at the high school the boys are working their butts off . Cross my fingers after putting in the water lines and the sand on top maybe the end of next week I hope I hope I hope because we are hand watering all these plants every day ughhhh:))

We had decided at the outset that we didn’t want to ask our guests to travel for more than 2 hours to get to our wedding venue of choice. Having said that after another day or so of looking at the websites for what seemed like eve...ry single wedding venue with 2 hours of Monterey Park we just couldn’t get Rose Garden Estate out of our minds and just had to book a viewing. We knew within minutes of arriving that Rose Garden was the venue for us (and that it was worth the extra traveling for our guests)! We felt like we were in a magical garden as Lorie showed us around the beautiful grounds. Being able to hold the both the ceremony and the reception on-site was also a huge positive for us we knew that we didn’t want to get married in a church and the barn was the perfect alternative. We are both in Law Enforcement and the package prices saved us a fortune over every other venue we looked at. We have had so many wonderful comments from our family and friends who said that they had never been to a wedding venue like Rose Garden before, it was definitely worth asking them to travel just that little bit further! Everyone has commented on how beautiful the venue is and the pictures do not do the venue justice !! The food was wonderful and there was allot of it. We have a couple of pieces of advice for other couples planning their wedding: don’t think you have to do everything that you see on Pinterest! Rose Garden is beautiful already, but if you want to add to that, choose a couple of DIY projects that you can easily execute within the time you have your time is precious and we found that too many DIY project can be a little stressful! We've gotten so many Law Enforcement officers get married here but they don't want their photos on Facebook with their families and names for security reasons SO.... I have a lot of nice new reviews but I can't put a photo to them ughhhhh. I think I will just grab some generic nice bride photos and put the reviews with them :)))

Well the wild flower garden on a 1/3 of an acre never worked ha ha , we were only able to grow big healthy tumble weeds . WELL ... we have taken 2 weeks to clean out all the weeds and have now put in 150 amazing flower plants that grow in our climate. The grounds been like cement. It was to have been done before this weeks wedding but we will barely have the water lines in as its been crazy tough doing this work BUT.... Its going to look amazing !!!!!
