Today was a very close call and would like to thank San Jose Fire Department for responding and working so fast. Early this afternoon, what started as a small dumpster fire, quickly turned into a fast blazing fire and worked its way up the side of Rookies building. We are so fortunate and blessed our neighbor Vic, from Vic’s Coin Shop called 911 immediately after noticing the small fire. At this point the authorities and Arson team are investigating but no foul play is cur...rently suspected. This was very scary for our family and a reminder how fortunate we are and how things can change in an instant. We are so thankful for everyone that checked in on us and offered help. Rookies Sports Lodge is safe and ok. Now lets kick this virus to the curb and allow us to open our doors so we can once again give back and serve our amazing community. See more
