In case you missed it, here is the official article in the Reporter "Vacaville Launches the California Biomanufacturing Center." Some good news for your Saturday evening! https://www.thereporter.com//vacaville-launches-californi/ #vacaville #vacavillecalifornia #vacavilleca #investedinvacaville #dreambigger
Excited to share a huge milestone in the progressive economic health and development of Vacaville. The City is already home to several leading biomanufacturing ...companies: Genentech, Johnson & Johnson, Novici, Polaris, and RxDNova. Today we announced the next step in our expansion plans - to launch the California Biomanufacturing Center. This Center will lead to more than $2 billion in industrial development, 3.5 million square feet of commercial real estate development, and the addition of 13,000 jobs with a payroll of more than $1 billion a year. It takes a tremendous amount of hard work to get to this point. Through the City's Biotechnology and Advanced Manufacturing Initiative, we gathered an extensive amount of research from industry experts, established educational partnerships with UC Davis and Solano Community College, and of course, garnered the support of our Federal, State and County partners. A project of this magnitude requires a talented, dedicated team. We're fortunate to have such a team to champion this vision into reality. We are extremely grateful to the project's key players: Solano Community College Superintendent/President Dr. Celia Esposito-Noy; U.S. Congressman John Garamendi, State Senator Bill Dodd, and President of the new public-private partnership, the California Biomanufacturing Center, Matt Gardner. There is more hard work to come, but today we're closer than ever to our goal - to make Vacaville and the Bay Area the epicenter of Biomanufacturing in the United States.
Have you completed the 2020 Census yet? Let's make sure we count!
