The 4600mm diameter operable observatory dome is fully rotational. It consists of two operable sections that open to a maximum of 50% and fully rotate for a view of the sky in all directions. Another first for Rollamatic Roofs is the utilization of insulated electrochromic "switch" glass. The glass turns from translucent to clear with the flip of a switch.
