The Presage Arita Porcelain Dial Limited Edition is inspired by the Japanese tradition of Suigetsu, the celebration of the moon's beauty when it is reflected in water. The pure white texture of the Arita porcelain, known as Hakuji, greets the eye from every angle and creates a sharp contrast with the blue colors of the hands, numerals, and sub-dial accents. Today, Arita porcelain is still highly prized, and many porcelain makers continue to thrive in the town of just 20,000 people, thanks to its long tradition of craftsmanship, the rich variety of its products, and to the uniquely Japanese sensibility that they embody.
