Hey y’all! Let me introduce myself. My name is Elizabeth Polacco and I am the owner of Rockridge Day Spa. I started RDS in 2013 after expanding my esthetics bu...siness in 2008. I know what it’s like to start and build a business in a recession, and I have grown through many different challenges over the years. I have 2 beautiful kids at home, and my husband and I are working our way through this pandemic: distance learning, managing our careers, and keeping it all together in a multigenerational home. One of the constants (hey that’s my moms name) in my life has been Lashing. I love it! The instant gratification, the tedious, intricate work with my hands, it’s like my meditation. (I know most of you think it’s absolutely crazy adhering fibers one by one to your natural lash, but it centers me and it makes people feel good.) Learning how to do eyelash extensions was a huge challenge for me. It literally took me 5 years of on and off lashing before I committed to mastering this skill. I would look at pictures of lash work and think, How? I couldn’t imagine ever getting my work to look like the pro’s. Well, I am here to say I did it. I am now a bomb lash artist!! With determination and lots of support (you know who you all are) I practiced lashing while growing my business and being a momtrepreneur. I am proud to say I am currently a triple certified lash artist and a @novalash instructor, through @labapro in California. For the last 3 years it has become my passion to help grow people. I thrive in seeing people work hard and get results! It brings me the most joy.
