Great companion for the road trips We have been looking to get a freezer/refrigerator for our road trips for a while to carry food for our dog and some food for kids as they get very picky eaters. This freezer is perfect for my need. It fits very well in my car trunk and still has space for storage around it. The construction is really sturdy for road travels and camping. The handles are spring-loaded so they are always out of the way when you don't need them. The bigges...t advantage of this freezer is that it has a compressor and that helped a lot on our last trip. We took marinated frozen chicken for our camping trip. Had the freezer cool off at home, stored the meat in it for a few hours before transferring to the car. It kept the meat frozen for the 7-hour drive and once there, we transferred to the regular 110V outlet before opening. We were very happy with the overall performance. No noise in the car as well.
