I love my church! I have many memories here at The Rock but one of my favorite memories was the Father's Day Fishing Trip back in June. It was my first time ever going fishing, and I didn't have my own equipment. The equipment was supplied and I had great teachers who helped get me set up. The fishing pole I was given was one usually no one else is allowed to use, Pastor Carl's. Just glad I didn't drop it in the ocean. It was a great day! And though I didn't have my Dad here with me to celebrate on Father's Day, I still have my church family that God has blessed me with! Here at the Rock, I AM HOME. Today marks another year of Victory in preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the Body of Christ. The Rock of Salvation Christian Center celebrates 23 years of Service to our God Jehovah and Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. We honor God for entrusting us to minister, support, teach and be avail to meet your needs and the needs our community.... I remember the day the Lord instructed me to serve Him under the authority of Pastors Carl and Rita. And in doing so I realized that as I served God presented opportunities for me to grow and develop into a strong and fearless God fearing woman. I learned to put aside my feelings and trust God's word. To seek God first no matter who or what was happening around me. Time and Consistency. These are two words that define the Rock. No matter what The Rock always makes time for the people. And The Rock has been Consistent in Teaching God's word from the Bible. I am so grateful to God for choosing me to be a part of this ministry. I gained a family that I know will always be there for me and my family. Happy Anniversary Rock Family Pastor Feltina Holmes
