Our Junior All-Star Team had a loss last night against Nevada City, but fear not; this is a double elimination tournament, so our team is still in it. They play Bear River tonight, and a win will send our team to the Championship Round. Go Junior All-Stars - we are cheering for you! And what can you say about our 10U All-Stars but WOW! With their 3rd straight win last night against Lincoln, they advance to the Championship Round with no losses. This gives them two chances to win the District 11 Championship. We know you can do it! Go Rocklin Little League All-Stars!

So exciting to share Nik McClaughry, RLL and RHS Alumni is playing in the College World Series for the Arizona Wildcats. First game is today at 4pm, broadcast on ESPN! Nik, his brother (Riley), and parents participated in RLL from T-Ball to Seniors for over 10 years, playing, coaching (Jeff), and team parenting (Cheri) during regular season, TOC’s, and All-stars. He and his family represents what it means to be dedicated to their community through participation and support of community-based baseball programs. Good luck Nik in the World Series, we are cheering for you and your team! #arizonawildcats
Hello RLL Families, We hope this message finds you well, and that you had a great holiday season! RLL's normal schedule every year is to conduct tryouts/drafts and complete team formations the last week of January, allowing every team to start practicing together the first week of February, followed by games starting in March. We set everything up for our 2021 Spring Season with this normal schedule in mind. Unfortunately, while COVID numbers appear to be improving in Placer... County, restrictions continue and we need to push things out. We believe as people continue to comply with safety recommendations and the number of people vaccinated increases, things will improve enough to allow our players to get back out on the ballfield! Our Board met and discussed options. First, we want you to know our #1 goal is to have a Spring Season this year! Second, based on feedback we received in 2020, we are communicating what our approach will be moving forward ahead of time. We are going to use an approach similar to what rocket launch companies. We've identified three "windows of opportunity" to launch our Spring Season. As we approach each launch date, we will evaluate the situations to determine a go or no-go. If a no-go, then we "scrub" the launch and we already know and have communicated the next window ahead of time. With that said, here are our windows: WINDOW #1 Tryouts/Drafts/Team Formations - March 2021 (first week) Team Practices Begin - March 2021 (second week) Games Begin - April 2021 (second week) Season Ends - June 2021 (end of the month) WINDOW #2 Tryouts/Drafts/Team Formations - April 2021 (first week) Team Practices Begin - April 2021 (second week) Games Begin - May 2021 (second week) Season Ends - July 2021 (end of the month) WINDOW #3 Tryouts/Drafts/Team Formations - July 2021 (first week) Team Practices Begin - July 2021 (second week) Games Begin - August 2021 (second week) Season Ends - October 2021 (end of the month) The last window is typically when we run Fall Ball, so we would forego having it if we end up having to push out that far. League spending will be minimalized - we will hold off on the large expenditures until we know for sure that one of these windows will work out. If we get to the last window and ultimately have to cancel the season, we want to be in a position to offer refunds. Thank you for your time and for supporting us as we navigate through these challenges. We cannot wait to get back out onto the ballfield! Regards, Rocklin Little League
